William "Bill" Franklin Pugh, 75, of Powell, OH peacefully passed away the morning of June 15th, 2024 in Columbus, OH. He was born on August 25, 1948, to Russell and Jane (Burnett) Pugh, in Lima, OH. He was predeceased by his High School sweetheart and loving wife of 51 years, Barbara (McDougle) Pugh, who passed away on April 19th, 2020.
Bill honorably served 20 years in active duty for the United States Air Force before retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1987. His career included assignments requiring travel to Vietnam, Brazil, and Liberia while being stationed in Topeka, KS, Denver, CO, Panama Canal Zone, Clovis, NM and Dayton, OH. After his active-duty retirement, he spent another 23 years working as a Civil Servant at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Throughout his life, Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, fishing, boating, working in the yard, attending church, and above all, spoiling his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two children, son Brandon
