Robert D. "Bob" Stiffler, age 65 of Marengo passed away early Thursday morning June 27, 2024, at Marion General Hospital.
He was born on May 24, 1959, in Mt. Gilead to the late Paul A. Stiffler and Ruth (Adkins) Pukansky. Bob was a 1977 graduate of Marengo High School. Sadly, Bob never retired, he was a tireless worker. He was previously employed at Morrow County Hospital Housekeeping where he met his wife of 28 years. He worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed the solitude that driving allowed. He was employed by Bennett Distributing and then for the past 12 years by Ross Brothers Salvage. Bob was also the workforce behind Triple Tree Farm, he enjoyed berry picking and planting. He took delight in seeing the joy on his little's faces when PaPa took them to the berry patch saying it was worth the up keep.
A man of faith, he was a member of Christ the King Church. An outdoorsman at heart, he enjoyed time spent cutting wood and tending to the needs of his land. His life cent
