David Rolland Buxton age 87, of Westerville went home to live with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 23, 2024. He was raised in Zanesville, Ohio by his parents, Rolland Marquand Buxton and Annetta Pratt Gilespie Buxton, and with his sisters, Barbara and Jan; All were teachers. He is a graduate of Zanesville Lash High School, the College of Wooster, and The Ohio State University. He and his loving wife Kay May Kridel Buxton, married for 66 years, raised two sons, David Scott Buxton, and Stephen Kridel Buxton. He served students, parents, and teachers in Mifflin Local Schools and the City of Columbus Scools as Teacher, Guidence Counselor, Assistant Principal, and Principal. He served his church and church family as Deacon, Trustee, Elder, Nominating Officer, and Sunday School Teacher.
