Mary Victoria Richardson, age 93, of Ashley, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Wyndmoor of Marion.
She was born on June 28, 1931, in Portsmouth to the late Lee F. "Corky" and Ella J. (Bailey) McClain.
Mary would meet Marlo Clyde Richardson, and they were married on September 14, 1947, in Greenup, Kentucky. Together they cared for each other's needs and made a home for their large family, until his sad passing in 2008 after 61 wonderful years.
Mary's life centered on caring for the needs of her large family, she was much more than a gifted homemaker. A woman of deep and abiding faith, she was a member of Ashley Wesleyan Church for over 60 years.
Those left to cherish her memory include her 6 daughters, Myra (Bob) Lee of Powell, Marla Campbell of Marion, Mary Richardson of Delaware, Julia Rife, Linda (David) Marcum, and Faith (Scott) Akers, all of Delaware; 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
