Barry Douglas Rodgers, age 58, passed away unexpectedly due to a pulmonary embolism that took him from us too soon. Born to Meredith Rodgers and Janet Kemp on January 6, 1967, in Columbus, Ohio, he graduated from Logan High School in 1985. In 2005 he met the person who would later become his wife, Trang Bui, and together they worked to raise 2 very capable men into adulthood.
Barry was a true renaissance man, having done so much in his short lifetime; from EMT & Firefighter to Health & Safety & entrepreneurship. Barry served his country as a member of the Ohio Army Reserves where he received the rank of Sergent.
Those who knew Barry deepest felt his unwavering loyalty. Forever a protector and provider he tirelessly served passionately with unconditional love, kindness, generosity, and humility. Never knowing a stranger, Barry fiercely accepted and welcomed you as you are and never let you leave with a need unattended.
