CARDINGTON - Marion Dale Barton, age 89, of Cardington, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Morrow Manor in Chesterville, Ohio surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Beverly, Ohio on August 3, 1935, to the late Lory Marion Barton and Mary Ann (Ward) Barton. Marion was a kind, gentle, personable man whom many referred to as "Smiley." He enjoyed camping, woodworking, collecting old coins and movies. Marion found value in everything. He was a hard worker who spent most of his career being referred to as "Mr. B." as the custodian of Highland North Elementary School. Marion brought joy to others with his bright smile and easy-going demeanor. He was a giver and served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army. Marion will be forever loved and deeply missed by all. Marion is survived by his children; Michael (Nancy) Barton, Lori (Calvin) Pierce, Pat Barton, Emily (Jeff) Sparks and Tim Barton; grandchildren, Krysta (Jake) Spengler, Zachary Barton, Shayla Pierce, Patrick B
