Mark Nield, age 63, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. He was born on September 28, 1961, in Rochester Pennsylvania to William and Pauline Nield. He was a 1979 graduate of Center High School and graduated with a Computer Science Degree from Penn State University. He married Linda Abbott on June 16, 1984, and raised 3 children.
Marks professional career spanned 38 years. His career began as an entry-level programmer with Exxon. One of his more memorable undertakings was gathering data on wildlife that was impacted by the Exxon Valdez Oil spill in Alaska. Ten years later he joined McHale US Connect, an IT company focused on education, where he began his sales career advancing to a Vice President position. Mark continued his career in sales technology, holding various VP and leadership positions, including TeKnowlogy Education Centers in Houston, TX, Cisco Systems, VTEL (Video Teleconferencing), and Relational Technology Solutions all in Columbus, OH.
