James "Jim" L. Garver, age 80, passed away on March 16, 2025, in Delaware, Ohio. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on August 13, 1944, to Walter and Loretta (Maggard) Garver. He was employed with the Sun Ray Stove Company and after retirement he worked at the Grady Memorial Hospital cafeteria. Jim enjoyed golf tournaments, bowling in two leagues, Little Brown Jug, the horse parade and attended the Delaware County Fair every year. He was also a huge fan of The Ohio State University football team. His proudest achievement was raising his two girls and his grandkids. Jim is survived by his two daughters, Mary (William) McClary and Sherry (Eddie) Lanham; grandchildren, Kayla (Kyle Lewis) Lanham and Jordan (Jaymi) Lanham; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Rae Lanham and Juliette Marie Lanham; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Rose Marie Garver; his parents, two brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held on March 20, 2025, at
