Kathryn (Kay) Baltzer, age 77, passed away very peacefully on March 17, 2025 at home in Powell, Ohio. Born May 23, 1947 to Edwin and Ruth Torrence in Beaver, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Bob, her parents, and her sister Nell. She is survived by her sister Sue; sons Dan “Stu” (Stacie) Leeper, Tim (Polly) and Dan (Keren) Baltzer; grandchildren Carrie and Danny Leeper and Clayton (Rachel), Philip, Matthew (Madie), Anna, Micah, Basel, Milo, and Ella Baltzer; great-grandchildren Josiah and Nathaniel; many family and lifelong friends; and very special nieces and nephews, especially Debie, who introduced her to Bob and helped care for her during the last year. Kay was a proud alumnus of Penn State University with a degree in nursing. Her professional life included nursing, home health, and leadership positions with several health care organizations.
