Christina "Nikki" Ketterling (Roush), 47, passed away on March 16, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Nikki was born on July 25, 1977 and was the second of two children to Karen Davis and Danny Roush in Delaware, Ohio. She attended Delaware Hayes High School before furthering her education at the University of Dayton. In 2007, she moved to Denver, Colorado with her soulmate of 36 years, Derek Ketterling, where she became a beloved physical education teacher at Pine Grove Elementary in Parker, Colorado, impacting the lives of her students and coworkers for 18 years.
Nikki met her lifelong love, Derek Ketterling, in their neighborhood cul-de-sac when she was just 11 and he was 12. They were married in 2009 and in 2012, welcomed their amazing daughter, Paige Aspen. Nikki cherished her family above all else, fiercely protecting and encouraging Paige while guiding her with love, understanding, laughter, and a sense of adventure.
